She delights in working with authors to bring their stories into the world, either using their voices or finding the perfect narrator for their audiobook. Voice Over Vermont studio records audiobooks in ProTools, with Soundforge as an additional DAW for certain projects. We use AudioTechnica 2035 mics through a Tascam US 366 Interface. We can connect with additional studios and directors with sound patch or Source Connect.
Voice Over Vermont is a certified Woman Owned Small Business, member of the Audio Publishers Association, World Voices Organization, Editorial Freelancers Association, Author’s Guild, NonFiction Authors Association, Independent Book Publishers Association, and Vermont Association of Broadcasters.
We support our community by providing coaching, recording, production and editing services for students in the Voice of Democracy speech competition, the Young Writers Project and Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization. We mentor new voice talent with WOVO and we support art programming through the Love Your Brain Foundation.
Audiobook Narrator Casting and Production - First we ask questions to understand what YOU are listening for in a potential narrator. Then we send you the best auditions. Together we listen and decide. Once the project is cast, we keep you informed during the entire process until your audiobook is complete!
Author-Recording: Our custom built studio is designed to make you feel right at home. When you are behind the mic, all you have to focus on is re-engaging with the words you wrote to bring them from the page into the world in your own, unique voice. Our job is to record you, encourage you, and make sure you sound like yourself - on your very best day.
