I’m looking forward to our recording session! I’ve included studio information here for your convenience.
As a reminder:
- Start drinking lots of water to make sure your vocal cords are well hydrated.
- Reduce dairy (milk/cheese) products in your diet. Please no dairy at all once we start recording (it creates smacking mouth noises!)
Day of Recording:
● No dairy!
● Bring a water bottle
● Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing - no tracksuits or highly starched shirts (they make noise that the mic picks up).
● No dangly earrings
● Please do not wear perfume or cologne - the scent can linger for days after a session.
● Warm up your voice on the way to the studio by singing along to a song
● Relax. Breathe. Have fun!
● Should you have a last-minute scheduling conflict, call/text 802-373-7690 (studio cell).
I have various herbal and caffeinated teas available (and local honey as well!) You are welcome to bring a light lunch and eat in the studio or on our porch (weather permitting).
